Take some leftover chicken out of the freezer or refrigerator and turn it into something good. Make that leftover chicken feel like a brand-new dish – it’ll feel as though it was cooked for the first time.
I did an amazing collaboration with a group of other food creators on the YouTube platform. This collab was originally started by @PoorGuyOutDoor on YouTube. Check him out, he has some incredible content and does some awesome reviews as well.
The deal was anyone on YouTube that creates content or wants to give it a try can create a video and post it on the same day which was June 17, 2023. The catch was it had to be a video about leftover chicken.
Simply put, you must create something new with some chicken you have leftover from a day ago, or even a few days ago – heck even a month if you froze your leftover chicken.
For my video, I did a Spicy Chicken Taco. You will be able to find the video in the recipe below. I will also list all the other YouTubers that participated in this cool event at the end of this article.

Instructions

- Add chopped onion, garlic, and habanero to another part of the grill with a little olive oil.
- Once they have cooked for about 5 minutes, mix them into your chicken filling.
- Add some more olive oil to clean part of the griddle and add 1 corn tortilla. Cook until brown and flip. Shape into a taco.
- Fill the taco with your mixture.
- Add hot sauce, and optional toppings, and enjoy!
When it comes to making this recipe, jazz it up with some of your own favorites! Add some bell peppers or other veggies in the mix, switch the habanero to a Jalapeno pepper, or go crazy and switch it to a Carolina Reaper!
