Hash, Bacon, and Egg Cooked on The Blackstone Griddle

Creating a good hash and potatoes for breakfast shouldn’t be perfect. As a matter of fact, each time you make it, it might be different. That is because it should be made for your unique taste, style, and leftovers!

While you don’t necessarily need leftovers to create a great recipe, it is the perfect opportunity to rid the meat and veggies that were put in the fridge over the last couple of days.

Wheater you have leftover chicken, turkey, sausage, bacon, or any other type of meat, it’ll complement your hash.

Bacon Hash Made On The Blackstone Griddle

Hash Egg and Bacon

Find leftover meat and veggies and add them to your hash to make it unique, your own, and use up all those leftovers.

Prep Time 15 minutes
Cook Time 30 minutes
Total Time 45 minutes

Ingredients

  • Meat (I used about 1 pound of Bacon)
  • Veggies (I used mushrooms, spinach, and onions)
  • 6 to 8 Potatoes
  • 2 Eggs
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Olive Oil

Instructions

  1. Cut the potatoes into small 1/2-inch cubes.
  2. Preheat the griddle to a temperature of about medium to medium-high.
  3. Add the bacon (or other meat of your choice to the griddle). Cook thoroughly and until crispy. Then sit aside on a part of the griddle that isn't as hot.
  4. Add a dash of olive oil, then add the onion, potatoes, salt, and pepper. Cook for several minutes while stirring until tender.
TIP: Add a dome over the onions and potatoes to help cook faster.
  5. Once your potatoes have softened up, add the mushrooms and mix them together.
  6. Cook until the potatoes are brown and all ingredients have blended together well.
  7. Finally, add the spinach and allow it to wilt in the hash while mixing it together.
  8. Add an egg. (If you are using a raw egg, create a well in the center of the hash and crack your egg in the middle. You can allow it to cook by itself, or flip it as necessary to create the type of egg you desire). For adding a boiled egg, just mix it throughout the hash.
  9. Garnish with green onions or parsley and enjoy!
